What is a bicycle rodeo??
No, it does not involve horses or lassos... It’s a bicycling skills challenge! Our scouts have a GREAT opportunity to get a safety inspection for their bike, to learn biking rules and practice skills that can be critically important when they’re on the road! The Summit County Sheriff’s Department will be present to register boys and bikes and Performance Bicycle Shop will have a mechanic on hand to inspect and make minor repairs. we still need parents’ help at each of the 10 stations that the scouts will be rotating through. Even if you’re unsure about bicycling yourself, there are definite opportunities for helping out with this event!
There will be Patches, Prizes and a Certificate!

We’re staggering the start times for the different Dens and ranks to help with the flow:
10:00 Dens 6 & 11
10:30 Dens 2, 3 & 7
11:00 Dens 1 & 10
11:30 Den 9
Scouts must bring their own bike and MUST WEAR A HELMET to ride! No exceptions!
Ice cream will be served to the scouts once they are done with all of the events!
